Which files does it take, and which browsers work?

MP4 and MOV from phones, cameras and screen recorders. Current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox can do the work; an older browser is told so when you press the button, rather than failing halfway through.

How large can the video be?

Up to 150 MB per file on the free plan for compressing, trimming, merging and the other editors, which is about a minute of 1080p phone video, and 5 runs a day. Pro removes these limits; past that, the limit is your device’s memory.

Will there be a watermark?

No. Nothing is added to your video on the free plan, and there is no account to make. A watermark appears only when you add your own with the watermark page.
