How it works
- Add an MP4 or MOV video. The mosaic is already chosen; the sound is copied across untouched.
- Set how coarse the blocks should be.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference from the blur?
- Only what is drawn over the face. A mosaic reads as deliberate, which is why broadcast uses it, and coarse blocks cannot be undone by sharpening the way a light blur sometimes can. Everything else — finding the faces, following them, holding a face the detector loses for a moment — is the same.
- Does the mosaic follow a moving face?
- Yes. Every frame is looked at separately, so the blocks move with the person; a face lost for a moment keeps its mosaic for about half a second, widening while it is held.
- Is my video uploaded?
- No. The detector runs in your browser and the video never leaves your device.
