Example
Example: a four-photo strip at a graduation party, 5-second countdown, black frame
At a graduation party on June 13, 2026, a laptop on the gift table becomes the photo booth. Settings: Photo strip (4 photos), filter Black & white, frame Black, countdown 5 seconds, Print the date on, Mirror on.
- Press Take photos: five seconds to get into the picture, then the first photo and one every 1.5 seconds after it, so all four are taken within 4.5 seconds. Change poses fast.
- Each photo is cropped to 4:3, 540 × 405 pixels, and stacked in a strip 600 pixels wide: a 30-pixel border, 20 pixels between photos and a 130-pixel band at the bottom for the date.
- On the black frame the date is written in near-white; on white, pink, blue or mint it is near-black. Changing the filter or frame afterwards redraws the strip without a retake.

photo-booth-20260613-1930.png: a 600 × 1840 strip with “June 13, 2026” at the bottom, 2 × 6.1 inches at 300 dpi. With Mirror on it is saved as you saw yourselves on screen; turn Mirror off before shooting if a “Class of 2026” sign should read the right way round.
How it works
- Press Start camera and allow the camera. Pick a filter, a frame colour and the countdown.
- Press Take photos: after the countdown the booth takes four photos a second and a half apart — change your pose each time.
- The strip appears with the date; change the filter or frame if you like, then Download it as a PNG, or Retake.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I take just one photo?
- Yes — choose Single photo for one shot with a frame and the date, in landscape.
- Why are the photos mirrored?
- They are saved as you see yourself in the preview, like a mirror. Turn Mirror off to save them the way others see you — text on your T-shirt reads the right way round.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes, with the front camera; if the phone has several, Switch camera changes between them.
- Can I print the strip?
- Yes — the strip is 600 × 1840 pixels, 2 × 6.1 inches (about 5 × 15.6 cm) at 300 dpi, the size of a classic photo-booth strip. The single photo is 1296 × 1098 pixels with the date.
- How long is the gap between the photos?
- The countdown runs once, then the four photos follow 1.5 seconds apart. With the 3-second countdown they are taken 3, 4.5, 6 and 7.5 seconds after you press Take photos; with 10 seconds, at 10, 11.5, 13 and 14.5 seconds, time enough to step back from the laptop.
- Are my photos uploaded?
- No. The camera picture and the photos stay in your browser; the strip is made on your device and only saved when you download it.
