Frequently asked questions
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Each converter reads the file in your browser and hands the new one straight back. Where a format needs a decoder the browser lacks, such as HEIC, it is downloaded once, the first time you use it, and the photos themselves stay on your device.
- Can I convert many files at once?
- The free plan converts 3 files per run, 20 MB each, with 5 runs a day; making a ZIP takes 20 files at a time. Pro removes these limits.
- Why do some cards lead to another site?
- The PDF converters are on Nouplo’s PDF site and the all-format image converter on the image site. The cards say where they lead; they work the same way, in your browser.
- Do the converters work offline?
- Most do once the page has loaded, because nothing is sent to a server. A converter that needs a decoder or a model has to download it the first time.
