Convert HEIC to JPG in bulk

How it works

1. Select all the HEIC photos you want: in the file picker press Ctrl+A (Cmd+A on a Mac), or drag a selection from your folder onto the box.
2. Set the JPG quality. 0.9 looks identical to the original; 0.8 makes files about half the size.
3. Press Convert all to JPG. Photos are decoded one after another, and the progress bar shows how far the batch has got.
4. Download everything at once with Download all as ZIP, then unzip it into your photos folder.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos can I convert at once?

The free plan converts 3 photos per run and allows 10 runs per day. Pro has no limits, so a whole holiday's photos convert in a single run and download as one ZIP.

Why does Windows not open my iPhone photos?

HEIC stores images with the HEVC codec, which Windows does not include by default. Converting to JPG makes the photos open everywhere without installing extensions.

Can I stop my iPhone from saving HEIC?

Yes. In Settings > Camera > Formats, choose Most Compatible and new photos are saved as JPG. Photos you have already taken stay HEIC, which is what this page converts.

Are dates and locations kept?

No. Photos are re-encoded from their pixels, so EXIF data such as the capture date and GPS location is not carried over. Keep the originals if you sort photos by date.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The HEIC decoder runs in your browser, so even a large batch never leaves your computer and the speed does not depend on your connection.
