Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. The piano, drums and metronome make their sound in your browser, and the tuners listen through your microphone once you allow it.
- Is my playing recorded?
- No. A tuner analyses the sound as it comes in and keeps none of it, and a song you open to find its BPM or key is read on your device and never uploaded.
- Can I use my computer keyboard to play?
- Yes. The virtual piano plays two octaves from the letter rows of your keyboard, so you can play with both hands rather than one mouse, and the soundboard plays its sounds from the number keys.
- Is it free?
- Yes. The instruments, tuners, metronome and noise are free to use, with no account and nothing to download.
