Example: a 3-minute, 120 BPM song as slowed + reverb at each amount
A 3:00 song at 120 beats per minute, made Slowed + reverb with the reverb on “Best for the effect”, a big hall.
- The song is played slower, like a record at the wrong speed: at Medium 3:00 ÷ 0.85 = 3:31.8, with tempo and pitch dropping together.
- The hall adds a 2.5-second tail so the last note fades out: 3:34.3 in all.
- The loudest point is set back to the original’s, never above −1 dBFS, and the file is saved as song-slowed.mp3.

Medium is the classic slowed sound, about 3 semitones down. Pick Strong for a deeper, dreamier version, Light for a touch that keeps the song close to the original.
How it works
- Add one or more songs — MP3, M4A, WAV and other audio files.
- Keep “Slowed + reverb”, or pick Nightcore or 8D; choose how strong, and the reverb (“Best for the effect” picks a long hall for slowed).
- Press Apply effect and download the new file, named after the song with “-slowed”.
Frequently asked questions
- How slow does it make the song?
- Light plays it at 90% speed (about 2 semitones lower), medium at 85% (about 3 lower), strong at 80% (about 4 lower). Tempo and pitch drop together, like a record played too slowly — that is the slowed sound.
- Why is the file longer?
- A slower song lasts longer — 11 to 25% — and the reverb adds a 2.5-second tail at the end so the last note fades naturally.
- Can I paste a video link?
- No — the tool works on audio files you have (MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, FLAC…). It does not download from video sites.
- Will the sound clip or distort?
- No: the loudest point is kept as loud as in the original, never above −1 dBFS.
- What tempo does the slowed version have?
- The tempo drops with the speed: a 120 BPM song becomes 108 BPM at Light, 102 at Medium and 96 at Strong. For any song, multiply its BPM by 0.9, 0.85 or 0.8.
- Can I make nightcore or 8D audio here too?
- Yes. Nightcore plays the song faster and higher — 115 %, 125 % or 135 % — with no reverb unless you pick one; 8D sends it round your head once every 12, 8 or 5 seconds, in a small room. Listen to 8D on headphones.
- Is my music uploaded?
- No. The effect is made in your browser; the song never leaves your device.
