How it works
- Drop the song, backing track or video.
- Set how many semitones to move: −2 lowers the key by a whole step, +12 raises it an octave.

Frequently asked questions
- How much should I lower it?
- Try −2 or −3 first. A man singing a song written for a woman’s voice often needs about −4 to −5; a woman singing a man’s song, about +4 to +5.
- Does the speed change?
- No. The sound is stretched and resampled so that only the pitch moves; the length stays the same to the sample.
- Does it sound different?
- A step or two is hard to notice. Large shifts, especially upwards, make voices sound thinner, as every pitch shifter does.
- Is the song uploaded?
- No. It is processed in your browser; a video keeps its picture untouched.
