How it works
- Drop two or more audio files onto the box: MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, FLAC and others.
- Use the arrows in the file list to put them in the order they should play.
- Choose the format and the bit rate, and a short pause between the files if they should not run straight into each other.
- Select Merge audio and download the file.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I join files of different formats?
- Yes. Every file is decoded and the sound is written again as one file in the format you choose, so an MP3, an M4A and a WAV can be joined together. Files recorded at different sample rates are brought to one.
- What if some files are mono and some stereo?
- The result is stereo, and a mono file plays equally in both ears, so it sounds as it did.
- Is the quality lost?
- MP3 and M4A are compressed again, which at 192 kbps and above is not something you will hear. Choose WAV to keep the sound exactly, at the cost of a much larger file.
- Is anything uploaded, and what are the free limits?
- Nothing is uploaded; the files are joined in your browser. The free plan joins up to 20 files of 150 MB each, 10 times a day. Pro removes these limits.
